Like all girls I love nice accessories, handbags and individual gift ideas and as such there is nothing I like more than browsing through the shops, especially independent stores that were a staple of high streets of old. Having lost the individuality you find in these shops, it’s always nice to find a new one to browse through.
It’s especially nice to find somewhere stocking lovely and more unique items if you are looking for a gift which is just a little bit different.
Pretty Little Things in East Kilbride offers exactly that and is a welcome addition to shopping in the town. Run by friendly owners, this shop has lots of ideas for gifts or to treat yourself. I had originally seen the shop advertised on Facebook and went along to see what was on offer and was not disappointed. Handbags, scarves, candles, jewellery to name a few things. In addition, if you like greetings cards that are a bit different to the run of the mill then this is definitely the place for you.
A particular favourite of mine is Katie Loxton and Pretty Little Things has a wide range of this in stock.
Another favourite of mine are the fancy packets of napkins – perfect for an afternoon tea or girly prosecco and nibbles get together.
Away from the main shopping area of East Kilbride, Pretty Little Things is tucked away in the St James Retail Park in the Hairmyres area of East Kilbride.
My recommendation is for everyone to pay this little gem of a store a visit – you won’t leave disappointed and unlikely empty handed.
